Yellow-the best colour ever

Can I help it that my favourite colour is Yellow!? I heard someone one say that it’s God’s colour, it’s warm and sunny and happy like him.
Why wouldn’t I Just LOVE yellow-it makes mee feel warm, happy and feel sweet. Sweet like Honey.

  • Hi! I’m Melissa E Earle

Hi! I am so glad your here, I am Melissa E Earle and this is becoming a journey of my life, my little slice of heaven. I live in Peace River, along beautiful green rolling hills in Northern Alberta, where the air is sweet in the summer, cold in the winter, where the sky is filled with Northern Lights, and where the people are the best around. This blog is becoming a living journal, where I share about the sweet life and tell sweet photo stories. Yes I am a story teller. And I would love to photograph your story; I know that every life is worth a little sweetness.
Poke around, I am so glad you came by, I can't wait to get to know you better!

    Cheerio

  • Real life with Mee on Instagram

    • I just love both of these photos from some of our adventures today; makes Mee feel like summer is here thanks to this amazing long weekend! What are your plans for the long weekend?
    • Listening to Poems, of everything, and contemplating life's important, character building, moments in our lives
    • Wild Elk, salad wraps anyone? Yes wild elk meat. A friend had locally shot some and it is delish!! Quick lunch before work
    • A thought provoking idea I heard through David Jay this morning. My husband always says, "We Learn in Layers" build upon the things you know. Stop to think, contemplate about how your *growing *goals *dreams *plans *ideas Write them down, and follow through! Speaking to myself today!!
    • Making sure to have some laughs and silly faces squeezed in our day somewhere #grateful #bradybunch
    • My pregnant body saying yum yum! Salad eating: greens, soaked pumpkin seeds, Nori, Kimchi, Hemp seeds, avocado, Dulse, Fermented Soy Sauce and lemon
    • Today, I was at church and one of the Koreans came over to Mee and very shyly was carrying something in her hands. The way she was walking made it seem like she was holding treasure in her hands. She told Mee it was Kimchi and as I exclaimed how much I love Kimchi, she nodded and said, "yes I know, this is for you, Happy Mothers Day!" I opened it to smell it while she laughed and I remarked how good it smelled and how it brought back so many memories for Mee. "You have some weird pregnancy cravings," she said as I mentioned how I wanted to eat it so bad now. The rest of the people around us didn't seem so excited to "smell" my treasured home made Kimchi, but as I opened my fridge tonight and made an Asian/Canadian inspired salad (with greens, nori, quinoa, avocado, fermented soy sauce, lemon, sesame seeds and of course Kimchi) I just feel so blessed to a) get my love language:gifts and b) that she would remember and bring Mee some c) for loved ones who care. Does anyone else like Kimchi?
    • My two reasons for celebrating today, and they are the best reasons!
    • Crazy mother day storms!! Blew down trees on our road and poured like crazy!
    • Mother's Day breakfast, enjoying presents, a highland dance skit, the sun breaking through the clouds, morning contemplation conversation, coffee from transcend coffee roasters and of course egg frittatas - hope your Mothers Day morning is just as wonderful #gratefulyou&mee
    • Kin meals shared with loved ones as a reward for a day of hard work with each other. Today we spent the whole day checking off a long list of Spring Clean items, both inside and out. I don't know what feels better, getting things taken care of, or doing it with the ones you love -and gathering together to eat afterwards in fellowship. Did you love well today?
    • Cool Crispy Cucumbers perfect for spring; "it's Springtime it's Springtime, the grass is always green. It's Springtime it's Springtime, I know you'll have a lot of fun. Springtime is here, lets celebrate cause its not here all year!"🎶 -the song RJ write and sang as she sang song her way up the driveway today. Cucumbers and spring songs 🎶go together, don't you think?
    • Miah won Author of the Month Award, so pleased with all his passion, creativity and hard work. I was excited that he wrote and that he won-he was excited cause he got a free lunch and drink at school, ahhh the good ol' days of being a kid!
    • b e g i n a n y w h e r e
    • My baseball boys - John Mark took on coaching the pitcher and catchers at try-outs, while Miah was getting his game on. They were giddy like little school girls after tonight was over
    • Around 11am I started getting hungry again, and I knew I needed my daily Smoothie, & was motivated by watching Kimberly Snider blend together a Chai seed smoothie. I didn't have all her ingredients so I blended together one of my own. I made a base of soaked Pecans, made nut milk in my blender and added the rest. Fresh cut up mangos and nectarines, chai seeds, Cacao powder, Camu Camu Powder, dates, Aloe Vera, Udo's Oil, a squeeze of lemon and a handful of spinach. I think the smoothie is yellow from local bee pollen I put in as well. She was right, so filling, and super delish. I love the nutty milk undertones!
    • I took a bite of my fig, and saw a heart. Any kind of hope I will take with #gratitude
    • It's so hard to believe that you turn 10 today! From the very start, when you were born, at home and daddy delivered you - to the weekend before your birthday and you made swimming Finals, I should have known this would be the best adventure yet. A decade full of life! You have given us so much as parents. Thank you Son, Happy Birthday!!!! Here Here to many decades!
    • Taking notes in my new book-Recap of the Main principles in Beauty Detox Foods #beautydetox
    • Found a Gem yesterday, just loving this so far! This is her second book and I needed not only the refresher but her practical application and recipes included here #BeautyDetox
