  • Hi! I’m Melissa E Earle

    Hi! I am so glad your here, I am Melissa E Earle and this is becoming a journey of my life, my little slice of heaven. I live in Peace River, along beautiful green rolling hills in Northern Alberta, where the air is sweet in the summer, cold in the winter, where the sky is filled with Northern Lights, and where the people are the best around. This blog is becoming a living journal, where I share about the sweet life and tell sweet photo stories. Yes I am a story teller. And I would love to photograph your story; I know that every life is worth a little sweetness.

    • So the tangled mess I have seen from my kitchen window that I disliked SO MUCH, turns out to be half hedge and half May Flower Tree-had I know this whole time!! Time to prune a little!

    • The best thing about Petrina is her smile, because when she smiles, it comes up deep from within her and makes her radiate! Love this girl

    • We have cleaned up all this brush - and we still have to clear about 20 feet back (on the right side of the photo) do you think 20 feet of no trees is enough South Sun for the trees? There is a creek that runs past, that's why all the willows are popping up. We had to clean out trash and barbed wire cause our animals kept getting stuck -it was like someone mashed up barbed wire in a ball and threw it in so the roots could grow up around it.
    • He means business-attack of the crazy roots, we have cleared out probably 30 feet in front of him (where I am standing) and taken away the bush. Now we are taking the roots out one by one, hooked on a chain to the back of his truck (we have done 20) but its tedious; although they are not large roots, belonging to willows I believe. And someone told Mee that they are Northern Vigor Hardy, so after we cut them we should be able to just stick them in the ground elsewhere on the property and they should grow...what do you think @jcopelgt
    • Even to the last morsel the savoured taste lingered
    • A little bit of steam for nutrients, does miracles
    • Had a great visit with a friend today. Tea and flowers, kids were involved
